Job Title: Finance Manager

Location: Remote UK

Work Type: Full Time (5 days/week)

Salary: £50,000 to £60,000 per annum depending on skills and experience plus a first class set of flexible benefits

Our client is seeking a dedicated Finance Manager to oversee the financial health of the organization. In this pivotal role, you will manage accounting operations, analyse financial data, and provide strategic insights to support business decisions while ensuring compliance responsibilities are met. Collaborating closely with the Management Director as a member of the Senior Leadership Team, you will prepare quarterly forecasts, provide variance analysis, and foster financial understanding across the business. You will also lead a team responsible for key finance functions and projects, ensuring effective processes and compliance.

  • A degree in Accountancy or equivalent, with at least 6 years of accounting/finance work experience and a relevant professional qualification (CA, CIMA, ACCA).
  • Demonstrated experience in management accounting and working for organizations delivering business-to-business services.
  • Strong knowledge of IFRS accounting principles and an ability to relay financial information to non-finance managers.
  • Proficiency in financial management software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks) and advanced Excel skills for financial analysis.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and strategic financial planning skills.
  • Strong leadership and communication abilities for effective team management and collaboration with cross-functional departments.
  • An organized, disciplined approach with excellent time management skills.
  • Big 6 audit experience and previous experience within the software industry are preferred but not essential.
