Job Description

Our client is a leader in delivering cutting-edge ERP solutions to a wide range of industries, helping businesses streamline operations, improve efficiency, and drive growth. As part of their ongoing expansion, they are looking for a motivated and experienced Pre-Sales Consultant to join their talented team.


This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a strong background in ERP software to make a real impact by helping clients identify and implement the best solutions for their needs. You will work closely with clients to understand their business objectives and pain points, and use your deep product knowledge to provide tailored, value-driven solutions. As a Pre-Sales Consultant, you will collaborate with both technical and sales teams, building strong relationships and contributing to the overall success of the business. This is a role that offers career progression, a collaborative team environment, and the chance to work on exciting projects for a diverse client base.


The Role

  • Collaborate with the sales team to understand client requirements and provide expert consultation on ERP solutions.
  • Deliver tailored product demonstrations and presentations to prospective clients, highlighting the value of the ERP system in solving business challenges.
  • Work closely with clients to assess their business processes, challenges, and needs, translating these into functional ERP solutions.
  • Develop and deliver clear, persuasive proposals and presentations to senior stakeholders, aligning ERP solutions with business goals.
  • Provide technical and functional expertise throughout the sales cycle, from initial engagement through to post-sale handover.
  • Stay up to date with industry trends, new ERP features, and competitive offerings to effectively position solutions in the marketplace.
  • Support the sales team with the preparation of RFIs, RFPs, and tender submissions, ensuring a high standard of professionalism and technical accuracy.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to clients, fostering long-term relationships and ensuring the successful implementation of ERP solutions.


Required Skills

  • Proven experience in a Pre-Sales or Solution Consulting role, ideally within the ERP software space.
  • Strong understanding of ERP systems, their functionalities, and their ability to drive business improvements.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Experience conducting product demonstrations and presenting complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
  • A consultative approach to sales, with the ability to understand business challenges and map them to solution offerings.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities, with an analytical mindset and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a cross-functional team, including Sales, Project Management, and Technical teams.
  • Experience with multiple ERP systems or modules is a plus.
