Agricultural Technical Associate - Office based in Devon

Are you a commercially minded, problem-solver with a passion for ruminant health and agriculture?

This unique role is a perfect opportunity for someone looking to develop a career within the technical department of a highly respected business specialising in animal health and nutrition. Our exclusive client based in Devon is looking for an individual who is immersed in the agricultural industry with an eye for detail and mathematically astute.

The successful candidate will work closely with the technical director and senior leadership by supporting in the development and commercial roll-out of a wide range of products.

The responsibilities of the role include:

  • Support multiple projects simultaneously working with stakeholders across the business to ensure timelines remain structured and achievable
  • Research and collate information to assist in product development and raw-material formulation
  • Understand and implement product and raw-material costings
  • Educate on and implement the communication of technical information all departments of the company where necessary

Key requirements:

  • An Agricultural or Animal Science related degree or the ability to demonstrate proven equivalent experience and knowledge
  • Mathematically astute with a technical mindset
  • An agricultural background and knowledge of the sector
  • Able to act on your own initiative and take responsibility for workload and project management
  • Problem-solving skills in a fast paced environment
