Who We Are: Cardiff Primary
Sitting within the wider Teaching Personnel team, we are an energetic team of 4 that have a further 28 consultants in teams around us. Our office is based on Cathedral Road in Cardiff. We love working together and welcoming new colleagues, who are always supported to learn and develop as they begin an exciting new journey - after all, we've all been there We are straight talkers and value open and fluid communication - it is our strong belief that everyone's thoughts and ideas count in our journey of continuous improvement. The Recruitment Consultant Role
As a Recruitment Consultant at Teaching Personnel, you bring schools and teachers together, towards a better education experience for pupils. You are not required to have experience as a recruitment consultant, as long as you bring your energy and willingness to learn to the table. You will join a thriving team covering a specialist sector (primary) and will be responsible for building your candidate pool and school base across a local area - and we will be right there, supporting and cheering you on.


This is a full time, permanent position starting as soon as possible. Main duties and responsibilities as a Recruitment Consultant at Teaching Personnel, you're the vital link between our client schools and candidates. You will join a thriving team covering the Primary and Secondary Sector and will be responsible for building your candidate pool and school base across the local area.

The Role:

* Make a high volume of sales and business development calls to schools across your local area
* Build and develop your own candidate database by sourcing and recruiting quality teachers and support staff and matching them to temporary and permanent job placements
* Have regular face-to-face client visits (or via video) to build relationships with key decision makers in schools
* Work to targets in line with your branch and career ladder
* Contribute to the wider team and help support group performance
* Be constantly supported through our learning development programme and in branch training
