Assistant Proposals Manager

I am currently representing a Tier 1 contractor that is looking for an Assistant Proposals Manager based out of their Hertfordshire office. They are looking for someone with strong writing skills and a creative flair (ideally with an English degree or journalistic background) but bid experience is not required. This is a fantastic opportunity to enter the construction industry and receive full training.

You will have the chance to work on significant construction projects, engage with key stakeholders, and play a key role in shaping winning bids

  • The company has strong growth plans over the next 3-5 years and is expanding its pre-construction and bid teams, with a view to add 15-20 people in the pre-con space.
  • You’ll work on large education, residential, blue light, university, and leisure projects, predominantly north of the river in London and the northern home counties.
  • Competitive package, including £3k car allowance, £500 annual home working allowance, 25 days holiday, birthday leave, and the option to purchase an additional 5 days.
  • Great benefits include 6% business pension contributions, discounted private medical cover (75% covered, and 100% covered if promoted), and an attractive bonus scheme (7-8% profit share last year based on £7M profit)
