Length of Contract: TBC but potentially until the end of March

GI Group are now seeking to appoint a SEN Teaching Assistant to our Education client based in Doncaster. The SEN Teaching Assistant will provide 1-1 support for a child within a specialist provision.

Duties of the SEN Teaching Assistant:

  • Provide 1-1 support to students with SEND and facilitate group work
  • Assist the teacher with the planning and delivery of lessons
  • Build positive relationships with students, teachers and parents
  • Assist students with their learning activities
  • Help students develop social and emotional skills

Role Requirements:

  • Commitment to safeguarding young children
  • Experience working with students with SEND
  • Excellent communication skills
  • A passion for supporting students with additional needs
  • A flexible approach to help meet the needs of students with additional needs
