As they continue to expand and innovate, they are looking for a dynamic and experienced Key Account Manager to join their team.


Job Description:

As a Key Account Manager, you will be responsible for managing and growing key accounts within the baked goods and food sector. You will play a crucial role in driving sales, fostering strong relationships with our clients, and identifying new business opportunities to support growth objectives.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Account Management: Develop and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key clients. Act as the primary point of contact, ensuring client satisfaction and addressing any issues that arise.
  • Sales Growth: Achieve sales targets and objectives by identifying opportunities to upsell and cross-sell products. Develop and execute strategic account plans to maximise revenue and profitability.
  • Market Analysis: Stay abreast of industry trends, competitor activities, and market dynamics. Provide insights and recommendations to drive business growth and stay ahead of market changes.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams, including marketing, product development, and supply chain & customer insights.
  • Reporting: Prepare and present regular reports on account performance, sales activities, and market conditions to senior management.


Qualifications:

  • Experience: Minimum of 3 -5 years of experience in key account management within the baked goods or food industry. Proven track record of managing and growing key accounts.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Skills: Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills. Ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders. Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret sales data and market trends.
  • Knowledge: In-depth understanding of the baked goods/food industry, including product knowledge, market trends, and competitive landscape.
  • Proactivity: Self-motivated, results-oriented, and capable of working independently and as part of a team.
