Are you a talented NPD Technologist with a passion for innovation?


Can you develop, test, and optimise food or beverage products and processes to ensure they meet the highest quality standards?

Macgregor Black are partnering with a Leading FMCG Manufacturer on the search for an Food Technologist. This is a permanent role based in Somerset.


Key Responsibilities


  • Manage trials and product launches.
  • Collaborate with the Sales and Commercial team to showcase products and support customer briefs.
  • Liaise directly with customers to understand their briefs and expectations.
  • Lead all aspects of the NPD concept and recipe development stage.


What are we looking for?


  • Degree in Food Science or Technology, or relevant experience in development or technical skills.
  • Considerable experience and knowledge with different stabiliser ingredients.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Proven problem-solving skills and experience in managing projects from concept to completion.


Circa £36k per annum (DOE) + extensive benefits package


Candidates must be able to prove their eligibility to work in the UK.
