Fourblue has teamed up with an accredited ICP (independent connection provider) who are experts in managing and delivering connections ranging from LV (low voltage) up to 132kV. Working to connect clients to the grid and covering all aspects of design, building maintenance, repair & replacement of networks. With a healthy order book that is moving into 2026, they are now seeking a HV Electrical Engineer to join this successful team and continue to deliver major electrical works including 11/33/132kV projects spanning BESS, Solar Parks, Data Centres and I&C.

You will be responsible for the management and delivery of Maintenance, Remedial and Project activities whilst also providing SAP support to Major Projects.


Responsibilities' of the High Voltage Electrical Engineer:

  • Deliver Customer Networks HV Maintenance, Remedial and Project activities, being the primary contact for matters arising. Ensure activities are delivered in a safe, cost-effective manner, to a high standard, in accordance with appropriate legislation and to agreed work programmes
  • Provide support into the planning of Major projects construction activities, working closely with the Project Manager and target the efficient construction of networks
  • Maintain “Senior Authorised Person” status by ensuring that key training, audit and record keeping requirements are met
  • Responsible for ensuring safe management and systems of work are deployed by all personnel and accountable for establishing effective controls of activities
  • Compile Risk Assessments and Method statements, complete audits and site inspections as appropriate assessing against HSQE benchmarks
  • Actively support tendering process by carrying out site surveys, pricing and scope writing to agreed timescales
  • Produce regular reports to senior management, including benchmarking against key performance indicators and a summary of the progress against business objectives
  • Take part in the Senior Authorised Persons standby rota and provide initial fault response as required to meet customer needs


Criteria for the High Voltage Electrical Engineer:

  • Minimum of 3 years Electrical Experience on 11kV / 33kV Networks
  • Electrical Qualification (HNC/HND minimum)
  • Experienced AP/SAP working on 11kV / 33kV networks
