Large Complex Build Project requires Senior Site Engineer. Project due to start in 4 weeks.


Your new company
Our client are a leading multi faceted main contractor who have delivered a large number of award winning projects across the UK covering sectors such as residential , student accommodation and hospitality. With a large new build project due to commence in Edinburgh they are seeking to appoint an experienced Site Engineer to their project team.,

Your new role
As Site Engineer on this project you will get the opportunity to work on one of the industries fastest growing sectors. Your initial role will be to oversee and manage the groundworks and foundations packages ensuring all technical standards are met and kept. From ensuring they built according to plans to following your rigourous QS processes this will ensure the project commences well and delivers on its programme and commercial targets. From there you will be a key part of the overall management team onsite moving onto managing structural and internal packages. You will be the technical expert onsite supporting your site team.,

What you'll need to succeed
As Senior Site Engineer you will be degree qualified in engineering and have significant experience across groundworks and excavations. Ideally you have worked on several large building projects for a reputable main contractor but our client are open to considering candidates from a subcontractor background with the relevant technical expertise. You must have ambitions to progress your career beyond site engineering to site management and beyond and have a real passion for construction and working on large projects. This project has a 2 year programme and will offer significant progression opportunities to the right candidate.
