Our client is looking for a highly skilled and experienced Site Lead and Head of Engineering to join their team in Northern Ireland. This key leadership role will shape the technical future of the company, ensuring the successful integration of cutting-edge generative AI solutions in sports technology.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement the technical roadmap to ensure continued innovation.
  • Lead and manage the engineering team, fostering a culture of excellence and creativity.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align technical strategies with broader business objectives.
  • Oversee the deployment and integration of Azure, Open AI, and Generative AI technologies.
  • Drive continuous improvement in engineering processes and best practices.
  • Mentor and develop team members, supporting their professional growth and leadership skills.


Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in a senior engineering leadership position.
  • In-depth knowledge of Azure, Open AI, and Generative AI technologies.
  • Strong leadership, team-building, and decision-making abilities.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to make critical technical decisions.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in the sports technology industry.
  • Familiarity with data transformation and natural language processing technologies.
  • An advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
