About the job

The Marketing & E-commerce Assistant will help Wild Fawn achieve ambitious sales targets by reaching and engaging new customers, and nurturing and re-engaging our existing customers. Working closely with the Sales & Marketing Director, you’ll help update and optimise our e-commerce website, and deliver marketing plans across social media, email and PR.


Key Responsibilities

  • Help build and engage the Wild Fawn community across social media
  • Take the lead on creating a social media content strategy and scheduling social media content on Instagram, Tik Tok, LinkedIn and Facebook.
  • Create and edit marketing assets using Canva and/or Adobe Photoshop
  • Use Klaviyo to deliver regular email newsletters
  • Help update and optimise our Shopify website by creating new artwork, product pages and basic product photography.
  • Build and maintain influencer relationships
  • Assist with creating press releases and delivering press outreach campaigns
  • Coordinate product samples and other promotional materials
  • Collaborate with the team to brainstorm new and effective sales and marketing tactics.


Other Responsibilities

  • We’re a small, sociable team, so we expect everyone to help with other aspects of the business when required. This could include assisting at jewellery-making workshops, or helping with fulfilment or photoshoots depending on the needs of the business and time of year.


Your Experience

  • Minimum 1-2 years working in a similar marketing or e-commerce role.
  • Demonstrable experience of using social media to build brand awareness and promote products and services whilst being able to maintain the feel of a brand.


Your Skills

  • A self-confessed social media expert, with a keen eye for current trends and new content ideas
  • Confident using an iphone to create video and photo content for Tik Tok and Instagram
  • Excellent written and verbal communicator and excited at the idea of engaging and selling to people on social media and email.
  • Top notch creative digital skills, and comfortable crafting on-brand artwork using Canva or Photoshop.
  • Passion for selling handmade jewellery and helping to grow an ethical and sustainable small business
  • Experienced with using a Mac and, cloud-based software like Google Workspace
  • Full of creative ideas and with the confidence to suggest them in a small team environment.

Salary

This is a full time role and salary starts from £28,000 per annum depending on experience.
