A large client of mine in Scotland is currently looking for a Data Analyst to join their team on a 6-month contract role paying up to £450 inside IR35 via umbrella.

In this role, you will be working on the the extraction of data from various sources (Excel files, various systems, databases, etc) and transform that data into load sheets for Maximo.

Some of your responsibilities in this role will include:

Data Extraction and Transformation:

- Extract data from various systems, databases, and Excel files.

- Clean, transform, and organise data to match predefined Maximo data load sheets.

- Develop and implement data transformation processes to ensure data integrity and quality.


Maximo Data Integration:

- Prepare data for loading into IBM Maximo, ensuring all data meets the required format and standards.

- Collaborate with the Maximo Asset Information Systems team to understand data requirements and loading procedures.


Data Analysis and Reporting:

- Perform detailed data analysis to identify trends, anomalies, and data quality issues.

- Document the progress of the data transformation processes and maintain comprehensive records.

In order to be successful in this role, you will have to possess the following:

- Experience in data analysis, data management, or a related role.

- Experience with IBM Maximo is a plus.

- Proven experience in ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes and tools.

- Proficiency in SQL and data manipulation.

- Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, vlookups, etc.

- Experience with scripting languages is a plus.
