Job Purpose:

Our Birmingham office is seeking a solicitor with at least three years PQE to join our Housing Management & Property Litigation team. In this role, you will manage a diverse caseload covering housing and leasehold management, property litigation, including injunctions, possession claims, disrepair, service charge disputes, cases before the FTT, and non-contentious matters such as policy advice. This is an excellent opportunity to specialize in a rapidly evolving area of law within a successful and growing team.



Responsibilities:

  • Manage a diverse caseload covering housing and leasehold management, property litigation, and non-contentious matters.
  • Engage directly with clients, meet deadlines, and provide supervision to junior staff.
  • Participate in marketing and business development activities.
  • Deliver training sessions to clients on relevant legal topics.



Requirements:

  • A minimum of three years post-qualification experience in housing and/or leasehold management and/or property litigation.
  • Proficiency in IT tools including Word, Excel, Outlook, and internet applications.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize workload effectively.
  • Commercial awareness and proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and concisely.
  • Attention to detail and ability to maintain focus under pressure.
  • Resilient and determined, with a commitment to achieving positive outcomes.
