Pipeline Inspector

Long O Donnell are looking for Multi-Discipline and Senior Pipeline Inspectors to join the team on projects based around the UK with reputable gas clients.

The Senior Pipeline and Multi-Discipline Inspectors will ensure the safe and efficient installation, maintenance, and operation of gas pipelines and associated systems by overseeing the inspection process. You will be responsible for ensuring compliance with industry standards, regulations, and project specifications across multiple disciplines, including mechanical, civil, electrical, welding, and coating.

Duties include:

• Inspect and monitor work across multiple disciplines such as welding, coating, mechanical, electrical, and civil works related to pipeline construction and maintenance.
• Ensure that quality and safety standards are consistently met for all disciplines involved in pipeline work
• Conduct thorough inspections of pipeline installations, ensuring that all work meets safety, quality, and environmental standards.
• Perform visual, non-destructive, and pressure testing on pipelines to identify faults, defects, or corrosion.
• Verify the correct materials are being used and ensure proper installation procedures are followed according to project specifications and relevant standards.
• Participate in safety meetings and lead initiatives for risk mitigation and hazard identification.
• Expertise in pipeline inspection, welding, coating, mechanical, and electrical systems.
