BM have an opportunity for a Class 1 LGV Driver on a permanent basis for our energy, oil and gas service client based in Peterhead.

The successful candidate will facilitate the movement of goods as required in a safe, timely and cost effective manner while complying with company policies and procedures.

Role Responsibilities

  • Operate vehicles in a safe and effective manner to minimise the risk of injury or damage to other vehicles and property
  • Adheres to all company policies and procedures
  • Perform daily safety and maintenance checks through the computerised systems.
  • Advise Supervisor of any requirements for maintenance or repairs
  • Ensure vehicles and equipment are safely and securely stored
  • Ensure weight distribution does not exceed gross 28 tonnes
  • Carriage of Dangerous Goods in line with ADR regulations
  • Accept, start and complete all relevant deliveries and collections using the Transport Management System (TMS) via the systems on the vehicle phone
  • Ensure signatures are obtained within the TMS system as proof of delivery


Required Competences

  • LGV C+E licence
  • Certificate of Professional Competence Card
  • Digi Tachograph Card
