What an incredible opportunity for a Senior Business Analyst to join one of London’s most recognisable Insurance Companies with operations in the Lloyd's, UK, Continental European and Global Insurance markets


As a Senior Business Analyst, you'll work within the organisation's London Digital Hub. You’ll join a team of outstanding problem solvers, all that have extensive data science and engineering expertise in the insurance industry.


As a new Senior Business Analyst your role will be varied and challenging, providing you with an opportunity to work with a variety of senior stakeholders on multiple projects, products and services at any given time across a number of different business units.


We’re looking for Senior Business Analysts' that have exceptional senior stakeholder management skills You’ll use these stakeholder management skills to support the Company’s Engineering, Data Science, Product and Underwriting teams, and to help navigate and convene with external Company clients so strong presentation and facilitation skills are highly important to this role


For this Senior Business Analyst role there are various types of experience needed, take a look below;


  • ***MUST HAVE*** Proven experience working as a Senior Business Analyst with data engineering and data science teams.
  • Experience of ETL Processing and SQL scripting
  • Significant technical understanding of business analysis frameworks, benefits management, business processes modelling, requirements analysis and functional decomposition
  • Confidence in leading the discovery process and designing your analytical approach to suit the nature of the work and environment
  • Strong stakeholder management skills to build relationships and collaborate effectively with senior stakeholders
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and delivering optimal client solutions, bringing an entrepreneurial approach and mindset to business design
  • Knowledge of advanced analytics, data engineering and re / insurance would be a bonus
  • Intellectual curiosity, communication and strong presentation skills.


This Senior Business Analyst opportunity will work on a HYBRID model where Tuesday's and Thursday's are spent working form the Company's London office and the rest of the time is spent working from home It will pay a highly competitive basic salary starting up to £100,000. In addition the candidate can expect to receive various Employe benefits (To be discussed).
