My Client is a market leader in the supply of medical disposables including wipes, gloves, wound care products and general supplies for clinics, private hospitals and NHS which forms a sizable portfolio.


Due to continued growth they now require a Head of Corporate Accounts to help drive double digit growth and extract value from the sizable stock investment. This position has a small team of account managers and support admins to manage and align to the mission. In a price driven market it is vital that the suitable person has strategy based around maintaining margin and not just driving growth at any price.


Ideally you will have experience and a contact base that includes selling to PCN’s and private healthcare providers such as, but not limited to, Bupa, Virgin, Circle, Spire plus clinical chains in the aesthetics, physio and wider trade customers etc. It will also be expected you have had experience in tendering and writing and presenting business plans.


Being corporate there are often a legal framework to explore and whilst a Hunter Mentality is required you must also have understanding of the wide picture in the decision making unit both at customer and within the business and it is vital that the ideal person builds solid internal networks as well as external.


Requirements

  • Experience in the products and markets defined above
  • Demonstrable experience driving growth and an understanding of how this happened making it repeatable.
  • A contact base they can lever for easy wins and tenacity and personality to create new contacts.
  • A strategic front line leader who can motivate and support their team and align them to the common mission.
  • Experience managing a large customer base incl customers, lapsed customers. potential customers and tenders and setting strategies to win utilising the whole team.
  • Experience of rolling out “head office” wins to “local” clinics.
  • A people manager who can get the best from thier team


Package and Location

· Applicants will be gladly accepted from the middle of England and South Wales. Typically Swansea, Cardiff, Bristol, Oxford, Milton Keynes, Northampton, Birmingham although national travel will be a requirement.

· Up to £58k pa plus 25% bonus plus co car or car allowance

· 22 days holiday raising to 25 days after 3 years

· Pension
