Private Equity Coverage Director

Our client, an award-winning and highly regarded business advisory firm, is a recognised leader in Corporate Finance, specialising in M&A and Debt Advisory within the lower mid-market. After a period of exceptional growth, they are seeking a Director level candidate with a strong background in Private Equity coverage to join their collaborative and forward-thinking London-based team.
This role offers a unique opportunity to work at the forefront of the PE market, engaging with industry leaders and driving meaningful partnerships. With a proven track record of delivering innovative solutions, the firm is well-positioned to provide a dynamic environment for a seasoned professional to thrive.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and nurture relationships with private equity firms through an organised, proactive, and strategic approach to relationship management.
- Coordinate deal flow across industry and transaction execution teams to ensure clients gain access to the most suitable private equity firms on a preferred and strategic basis.
- Facilitate collaboration between private equity clients and the firm’s industry specialists and globally dispersed professionals, providing seamless access to expertise and insights.
- Deliver tailored sale and divestiture services to private equity firm clients, leveraging the firm’s robust capabilities and industry expertise to meet their specific transactional needs.
- Act as a central point of contact for PE groups, ensuring smooth communication and alignment across internal teams, and enhancing the overall client experience.
Key Requirements
- Demonstrated experience in private equity coverage with a deep understanding of the PE sector and deal environment.
- Proven ability to build strategic relationships, supported by a passion for delivering exceptional client service.
- Experience in a transactional role with a track record of structuring and executing successful deals in the private equity context.
- A strategic mindset and the ability to align internal resources with client needs, driving optimal outcomes.
