Senior Cloud Data Engineer

Location: Hybrid working with sites across the UK

Eligibility: You must either possess or be eligible to apply for Security Clearance (SC)

Salary range: £80,000 to £105,000

Burns Sheehan is working with an AI consultancy operating at the intersection of bleeding edge technology & defence as it looks to add world class talent to a rapidly growing team. The organisation has advocates and sponsors at the highest level of Government & defence, and has already delivered a laundry list of jaw dropping defence projects and services since its foundation.

You will be surrounded by some of the smartest technologists in the UK and have access to the latest tooling and methodologies across machine learning, software engineering & cloud.


What you'll bring with you: we are looking for intelligent, creative problem solvers with broad exposure to cloud, machine learning and software development. Experience with Python & AWS/Azure is a solid baseline. You will also be a pragmatist and ideally have a 'consultant' mentality. You will be interacting with end-users and clients on a regular basis.


Working patterns: this is a hybrid role with an expectation that you will be on site at select Government & defence locations in the UK. All expenses for travel & accommodation will be covered.


Salary & package: basic salary worth up to £105,000 supported by a generous wider package.
