Description

They are looking for a WordPress Developer that has experience in coding and specifically PHP, as well as SCSS as well as experience in bespoke themes and page builders (Divi, Elementor).


You'll work closely with the account handling team and senior designer in workshops or on pitches with clients and will discuss the client's needs, able to drill down to understand exactly what they are wanting from their new website - how many pages, what's important to have on there. Asking the right technical questions, to ensure the website you then build, hits the brief.


You will also work closely with the design team to oversee the design of websites and communicate effectively with them, as to what can and can't be done, suggesting alternatives if needed. It will then be down to you, to build the websites, train the clients on how to use elements of the site themselves (perhaps so they can write blogs, or add pages themselves) as well as host and maintain the website.


It's really important that you are able to communicate clearly and easily, so that your clients understand what to expect, whilst also demonstrating your technical ability and knowledge.


Experience

To be considered for the role of WordPress Developer (PHP) you must have substantial experience in building websites with PHP, within WordPress. Any experience in SCSS, Divi, Elementor would be great.


You will also ideally have experience at being able to communicate and talk about technical coding and building of websites in a user friendly, engaging manner to clients and colleagues alike. Also an eye for design would be advantageous.


You'll be a problem solver, able to talk through a client's requirements with them in ease. Understanding what they are looking to achieve and want and troubleshooting any issues.

The salary on offer for this role is competitive and the agency offers flexible working with 3 days in the office and 2 from home.
