Job Purpose/Scope

The Product Specialist is responsible for selling to and providing product support to Orthopaedic, Plastic and Neurosurgery clinical teams within the NHS and the private sector across Northern Ireland.

Duties/Responsibilities

  • Achieve all targets set by the Sales Director
  • Promote Orthos’ portfolio of products within the NHS and private sector to grow the company in line with targets set and maintaining existing core business.
  • Attend surgery, supporting the clinical team as appropriate.
  • Provide excellent customer service to all levels of staff within the NHS and private hospitals.
  • Learn and keep up to date with the technical requirements of Orthos’ product portfolio.



Qualifications

  • Account management/sales experience is preferred.
  • Knowledge of anatomy/physiology an advantage.
  • Intermediate computer skills (i.e. MS word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Full driving license


Working Conditions

The Product Specialist position is a field-based role, with time spent in the office on an ad hoc basis. Orthos operates based on empowerment of the sales team. Orthos do not have endless rounds of meetings or believe in constant report writing. We are about delivering on our targets, supporting our customers, supporting one another, and striking an excellent work life balance.

We operate a simple structure. You will report to the Sales Director, collaborate with your peers, and have the support of a small operations team in the office to achieve your goals.

We have established relationships with our customers. We want the successful candidate to help us enhance those relationships resulting in additional use of our product portfolio.

Earnings Potential

The successful candidate will be offered an industry competitive base salary.

There is no upper limited on commissions or bonuses. Performance related pay is based on your individual targets and overall company goal achievement.

A generous car allowance scheme in is operation.

Orthos pay a lunch allowance, fully expensed mobile phone, tablet, and laptop pc.

Our 2024 revenue will be 50% higher than in 2023.

The successful candidate is coming on board as we start to reap the rewards of the seeds sown over the last few years.
