This is an exciting opportunity to join a successful, Birmingham based private equity real estate operating partner as it embarks on a prolonged growth curve in activities. With a range of equity partners already in place with more being lined up to deploy capital, this will be an exciting role for an ambitious individual seeking a new, high reward challenge.


The Role

  • You will be involved in preparing and delivering asset management strategies across a range of office and industrial asssets, to include leasing, surrenders, regears, lease events, capex and ESG activities
  • Meet regularly with tenants to explore occupancy needs and opportunities to bring together commercial opportunities
  • There is also scope for you to get involved across the investment activity in the business, providing you with exciting, market facing exposure
  • Oversee external managing agents and advisers to ensure the portoflio is managed to a high, sustained standard
  • Liase with lawyers to ensure that legal matters are completed in a speedy, comprehensive manner


The Person

  • Strategic asset management experience would be advantagous, however our client is also open to considering candidates from other disciplines. You will however need to have very good understanding of Landlord & Tenant.
  • Numeracy skills are of value, albeit this is not an Analyst role
  • Commercial acumen, to help you spot and deliver deals is essential
  • Exposure to regional offices and/or industrial property would be useful
  • Strong negotiations skills
  • Dedicated work ethic and happy to spend the majority of the week in the office - learning from the experienced team - when not out on site visits


This is a rare opportunity in the West Midlands market and will suit an individual in the earlier stages of their commercial real estate career.
