The Role

We are seeking a skilled conveyancer to coordinate and progress conveyancing matters from instruction to completion. The role demands a focus on compliance, operational efficiency, and delivering exceptional client service.


Key Responsibilities

  • Manage a caseload of 50-70 conveyancing matters, including freehold and leasehold sales, purchases, remortgages, and transfers of equity (training available).
  • Liaise proactively with third parties to keep all parties informed of transaction progress.
  • Conclude cases efficiently while adhering to service level agreements, quality standards, and client expectations.
  • Undertake post-completion tasks independently to ensure cases are closed accurately.
  • Provide technical expertise and support to team members as needed.
  • Demonstrate a strong understanding of probate sales and assents.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, protecting clients and the business.
  • Contribute to process improvements, including recommendations for automation and efficiency.
  • Stay current with regulatory and compliance training.


Key Skills and Experience

  • Qualified Solicitor, Licensed Conveyancer, Chartered Legal Executive, or equivalent, with at least 5 years of experience managing varied, technical conveyancing caseloads.
  • Expertise in complex legal matters, including Probate Sales, Shared Ownership, New Builds, Lease Extensions, and more (broad experience is advantageous).
  • Proficient in resolving technical issues and rectifying title defects.
  • IT literate with case management system experience.
  • Exceptional time management, organisational, and communication skills.
  • Analytical, diligent, and confident in using Management Information (MI) to achieve outcomes.
  • Professional under pressure, optimistic, and team-oriented.
