Quality Technician Opportunity – Ashchurch

We’re looking for a dedicated Quality Technician to ensure our standards remain at the cutting edge of the industry.


What You'll Be Doing

As a Quality Technician, you’ll play a vital role in maintaining and enhancing product quality. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Inspection Excellence: Visually and technically inspecting parts to ensure they meet product specifications, including goods-inward and in-house materials.
  • Precision Work: Reading and interpreting technical drawings to uphold quality expectations.
  • Defect Management: Recording, processing, and managing non-conformance issues, including customer returns.
  • Collaboration: Working directly with customer quality representatives and providing feedback to the Quality Engineer for process improvements.
  • QMS Support: Actively contributing to ISO 9001:2015 certification efforts and ensuring equipment calibrations are up to date.


What We’re Looking For

  • Experience: Proven track record in a quality inspection role, ideally within electronics manufacturing.
  • Knowledge: Familiarity with electronic/electrical components, cabling, and the use of test and measurement equipment.
  • Skills: Ability to read engineering drawings, problem-solve effectively, and maintain accurate records.
  • Attention to Detail: A meticulous approach to identifying and documenting defects.
  • Collaboration: Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.


Additional Skills That Set You Apart

  • Familiarity with IPC-A-610 or IPC/WHMA-A-620 standards.
  • Experience with DEF-STANs.
  • Knowledge of calibration processes or equipment.
