Purpose and scope of job


As a Payouts Assistant, your responsibilities include providing comprehensive support to all areas of the business and ensuring the accurate and timely completion of reconciliations within the payouts department. This role requires maintaining consistency in processes, handling financial transactions, verifying and processing payout requests, and collaborating with other departments to resolve any discrepancies.


  • Perform systematic document checks for loan documentation
  • Produce final payout packs for the finance team
  • Follow up with and inform colleagues on the progress of payouts.
  • Ensure all credit conditions requested by underwriters are met.
  • Check bank details and finance clearance on vehicles.
  • Adhere to general regulatory and internal compliance


The role is to work as part of a team to ensure the timely and accurate administration of Loan Applications through to completion including direct liaison with introducers and customers on the telephone and by correspondence, ensuring accuracy at all times and that laid down processes and procedures.


  • Vetting of application forms for accuracy and ensuring paperwork is correct to allow execution and payout of finance to customers and suppliers
  • Dealing with introducer and customer product enquiries via the telephone to agreed standards, and furnishing them information in answer to their queries
  • To assist with inbound phone calls, mailboxes & other requests within the team when available. Identify areas of improvement in relation to the customer journey and to increase efficiency within the operation.
  • To represent the JBR Capital brand in a professional manner.
  • To keep up to date with JBR Capital Loan products, and to identify areas of improvement in relation to the customer journey

  • Excellent consumer lending regulatory knowledge and understanding including FCA, JMLSG, BCOBBS
  • Ability to understand and fully comply with documented processes and procedures
  • Ability to deliver results
  • Good analytical skills, confident and self-assured
