Purpose of the role:

We are seeking a dynamic, analytical and results driven Ecommerce Trading manager to join our team, in this role you will be responsible for driving online sales and optimising the performance of our 9 global ecommerce sites.

We are going through an exciting period of change with many new initiatives happening, so looking for someone that can roll their sleeves up and not be afraid to get stuck in


Main Duties and Key Responsibilities


Trading Strategy & Execution:

  • Oversee the daily trading performance, including monitoring sales, conversion rates, and key metrics across our sites.
  • Be confident with numbers, and large data sets and be able to interpret key messages.
  • Identify and execute opportunities for sales growth, reviewing and building VM strategies per market, upsell strategies, optimising search conversion.
  • Reviewing trading calendar and identifying promotional opportunities, acknowledging key trading periods.
  • Analyse competitor activity; homepages/emails/marketing to inform trading strategies.

Website Management:

  • Collaborate with the web development team to optimise website functionality and user experience.
  • Updating website content and ensuring it is accurate, customer focused and aligned to the trading calendar.
  • Ensure all touch-points are customer focused, and provide recommendations where necessary.
  • Manage product launches, stock levels and pricing to ensure availability and accuracy.
  • Contributing actively to website development projects.

Cross Functional Collaboration:

  • Working closely with marketing, merchandising, supply chain, customer service teams to align on product launches, promotional activity, site changes. Have an understanding of what other teams are working on.
  • Co-ordinate with customer services to ensure a seamless post-purchase experience, reviewing customer feedback and areas for improvement.
  • Confident in communicating to all levels of seniority in the business.


Team Management:

  • Set clear weekly objectives to the team and be able to prioritise workload.
  • Providing positive guidance and support for the team.
  • Be able to deputise for Head Of Ecommerce Trading.



Requirements:


  • Proven experience in ecommerce trading, with at least 4 years’ experience
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions, confident using Excel
  • Experience in Magento, Akeneo, Ometria and Google Analytics a plus
  • Strong commercial acumen with a focus on driving sales and customer experience
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, proactive and results-driven and able to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
  • Knowledge of French or German a plus
