Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role located in Northbrooke House, Havenstreet for a Registered Manager at Island Healthcare Ltd. The Registered Manager will be responsible for ensuring that the service provided meets the standards set by the regulatory bodies, overseeing staff recruitment, training and development, and ensuring that care plans are tailored to meet individual service user’s needs.
Qualifications
- Minimum of a Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management in Health and Social Care or equivalent
- Previous experience in a management position within the care sector
- Knowledge and understanding of regulatory requirements and compliance within the care sector
- Excellent people management skills and ability to lead and motivate a team
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with service users, their families, and staff
- Good analytical, planning, and organisational skills, and attention to detail
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities and deadlines
- Willingness to undergo further training and development as required by the Company and regulatory bodies
