We are seeking a talented and results-oriented Systems Implementation Project Manager to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be instrumental in the successful implementation of complex systems, providing our organisation with advanced solutions that drive business excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Collaboration: Work closely with the Head of Projects and broader project teams to ensure the successful implementation of software solutions across the business.
- Project Planning: Develop comprehensive project plans, including scope, goals, budget, timeline, and resource allocation, to guide the implementation process effectively.
- Client Engagement: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, maintaining regular communication and building strong relationships to understand their unique needs and expectations.
- Requirements Analysis: Work with clients and internal stakeholders to gather, document, and prioritise system requirements, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
- Vendor Management: Coordinate with external vendors and partners to procure necessary software, hardware, and services, ensuring seamless integration into the project.
- Team Leadership: Build and manage cross-functional project teams, providing clear direction, support, and motivation to ensure project objectives are met.
- Risk Assessment and Mitigation: Identify potential project risks, develop mitigation strategies, and proactively address issues to minimise disruptions and delays.
- Quality Assurance: Oversee thorough testing and quality control processes, ensuring that the implemented systems meet established standards and fulfil requirements.
- Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation, including project plans, status reports, and user manuals, to facilitate knowledge sharing and project transparency.
- Change Management: Develop and execute change management strategies to facilitate a smooth transition to the new systems, including user training and support.
- Budget and Resource Management: Manage project budgets, allocate resources efficiently, and track expenses to ensure projects stay within financial constraints.
- Stakeholder Communication: Communicate project progress, status updates, and key milestones to stakeholders, keeping them informed throughout the implementation process.
About You:
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Information Technology, or equivalent experience.
- Prince 2, Agile, or other relevant certifications with proven experience in managing complex systems implementation projects from initiation to completion.
- Strong understanding of project management methodologies, tools, and best practices.
- Exceptional leadership and team management skills with a focus on collaboration and achieving results.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to project challenges.
- Strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask effectively.
- Proven experience in the implementation of CRM, Core Financials, and Procure to Pay solutions.
- Background in accounting is advantageous.
