Supply Chain Operations Manager

This is an exciting role for a long-standing pharmaceutical company who produce branded and generic products. Due to internal growth they are hiring for a new a Product Launch Lead. In this role, you essentially manage internally the product launch from a supply chain operation perspective ensuring the smooth transition of products from company to 3rd party logistics and so forth.
Responsibilities:
- Manage the introduction of new products into existing and new territories.
- Project manage new product development projects.
- Work with Supply Chain to ensure validation of logistics route and warehouse.
- Launch support overall process to ensure all new products are as per schedule, and cost budgets, supporting launch stock availability to sales in all markets.
- Work with 3rd party suppliers where relevant, to ensure that all activities are performed in a timely manner.
- Create GANTT charts / budget trackers for active projects.
- Work with the Commercial / NPD team to create ‘Product Summary’ sheets.
Requirements:
- Degree or equivalent with experience in the same or a similar role
- Current understanding of GMP/GDP
- Strong Supply Chain process experience.
- Good experience on supplier contracts etc.
- Experience of managing relationships of suppliers, CMOs, logistics providers, wholesalers, and laboratories.
- End-to-end project management experience of new product launches involving multiple external participants.
- Strong interpersonal skills at all levels.
- Ability to successfully manage numerous and complex product launch projects.
- Ability to build and maintain relationships at all levels.
