Job Description:

We are seeking a talented and experienced Data Quality & Governance Manager to join our team for a client project. As a Data Quality & Governance Manager at OBSS, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy, consistency, and integrity of our clients' data assets. Your expertise in data quality and governance will be essential in helping our clients achieve their data management objectives.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design, implementation, and maintenance of data quality and governance frameworks to meet clients' needs.
  • Collaborate with clients to understand their data governance requirements and translate them into actionable policies and procedures.
  • Develop and enforce data quality standards, guidelines, and best practices across the organization.
  • Conduct regular data quality assessments and audits to identify and resolve data issues, ensuring data accuracy and consistency.
  • Work closely with BI Manager, data owners, and other stakeholders to ensure proper data management practices are followed.
  • Develop and deliver training programs and workshops to educate employees on data quality and governance principles.
  • Provide expertise and guidance to clients on data quality improvement strategies and governance practices.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in data quality and governance to propose innovative solutions.
  • Develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of data quality and governance initiatives.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 8+ years of experience in the Software Industry, with at least 5 years in data quality and governance.
  • Proven experience in leading data quality and governance projects and delivering comprehensive solutions.
  • Familiarity with data quality tools and platforms such as Informatica, Talend, Collibra, or similar.
  • Relevant certifications in data quality, data governance, or data management methodologies are a plus.
  • Proficiency in data management principles, data modeling, and data stewardship.
  • Strong understanding of data privacy regulations and compliance requirements.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with clients and team members.
  • Ability to analyze complex data issues and implement practical solutions.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
