To oversee and manage the provision of claims advocacy and service in respect of International Profin clients and Retail broker partners.
Key Tasks & Duties
- provide expert claims advocacy in relation to large, complex and/or contentious claims, maintaining and leveraging market relationships as necessary, in order to bring claims to prompt, satisfactory conclusions.
- develop, shape and articulate the Profin claims value proposition to clients, Retail broker partners, colleagues and carriers, including the development and provision of management information and data to support the same.
- actively involved in new business opportunities, including preparation of tenders and participating in new business pitches.
- manage, review and supervise claims and adherence with claims procedures and guidelines. Including responsibility for Client claims strategies.
- major Clients, lead the claims relationship, including regular meetings, delivery of claims reports etc.
- manage the relationship between the UK Claims team, Profin and Retail broker partners, acting as the key point of contact in sharing information and agreeing strategy.
Skills & Knowledge
- Professional qualifications (e.g. ACII, FCII, Solicitor) and/or evidence of significant continuing professional development throughout career.
- Experience of management and handling of complex and/or high value FI / DO and PI claims.
- Good network of insurer relationships in these classes.
- Experience of US claims, litigation and related issues.
- Significant experience within the insurance industry and an in-depth understanding of insurance law and practice.
- Experience of engaging with C-suite of clients and prospects.
