Job Summary: As the EPR Project Manager, you will be responsible for the successful planning, execution, and delivery of the EPR system implementation. You will collaborate with clinical, technical, and operational teams to ensure the system meets the needs of all stakeholders and improves patient care outcomes. Your role will be pivotal in driving project success through effective leadership, communication, and problem-solving.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the EPR project from initiation to completion, ensuring all project objectives are met on time and within budget.
- Develop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets.
- Coordinate with clinical, IT, and operational teams to gather requirements and ensure the system aligns with healthcare needs.
- Identify and mitigate risks and issues, implementing corrective actions as necessary.
- Facilitate regular project meetings, providing clear updates on progress and addressing any challenges.
- Ensure compliance with NHS standards, policies, and regulations.
- Manage relationships with vendors and external partners to ensure the delivery of high-quality solutions.
- Provide training and support to end-users, ensuring a smooth transition to the new EPR system.
- Prepare and present project reports to senior management and stakeholders.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Proven experience in project management, preferably within the healthcare sector.
- Demonstrated experience in implementing large-scale IT systems, particularly EPR or similar healthcare technologies.
- Strong understanding of NHS processes, standards, and regulations.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies (e.g., PRINCE2, Agile).
