Job title: Digital Adoption and Change Manager

Location: Warton – We offer a range of hybrid and flexible working arrangements – please speak to your recruiter about the options for this particular role.

Salary: £61,110+ (depending on skills and experience)

What you’ll be doing:

  • Create a roadmap for the adoption of digital products within the national and international context. This includes defining milestones, timelines and key performance indicators. Align the roadmap with programme objectives and strategic goals
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across the customer, partner and business to ensure alignment and commitment to the adoption of the products and communicate the benefits of the digital solutions addressing concerns or resistance
  • Design and implement training programs, working closely with the people function, to ensure users understand how to use tools effectively. Provide ongoing support to leaders and managers to help them effectively lead their teams through change
  • Develop adoption and change management strategies to minimize disruption during the transition. Work with the Engineering teams change function to align and implement these, identifying and proactively addressing risks and resistance to change
  • Continuously assess the user experience of digital products, gathering feedback and engaging with development teams to enhance usability
  • Define success metrics (e.g. user adoption rates, productivity gains, and cost savings) and regularly analyse data to measure progress and adjust accordingly
  • Work closely with product owners to ensure seamless integration of digital tools and Head of UX to ensure adoption user needs align with development

Your skills and experiences:

  • Degree and/or relevant digital adoption and change management experience within complex environments
  • Experienced professional with extensive knowledge of Change Management tools, techniques and practices
  • Knowledge of digital delivery across people, processes, tools, infrastructure and data within Defence, Manufacturing or related industry i.e. PROSCI and ADKAR
  • Understanding the financial implications of digital adoption and change activity
  • Using data to measure product adoption success, identify trends, and inform future development

The FCAS Enablement team:

Future Combat Air System (FCAS) is a once in a generation programme that will deliver the United Kingdom’s next generation combat air capability with partners across Italy and Japan. The programme is looking to achieve a step change in the adoption of new digital capabilities across both engineering and business functions. This exciting and rewarding role will be part of the Enablers Delivery Team who are accountable for the end-end delivery of digital products and new ways of working across Engineering, Manufacturing, Programme Management and business functions. Managing projects from requirements to solution development and focussing on the user experience maximising engagement and uptake of digital solutions
