Chemring Energetics UK is a global business providing a range of equipment based on energetic materials for defence, civil defence and key commercial customers.
An exciting opportunity has arisen within CEUK for an Administrator to join us at our office in Stevenston. The main focus of this role is to provide administrative support to the Commercial team and Business Development Department.
Key Accountabilities & Duties:
- Carry out all activities in full compliance with H&SE legislation, within company policy and procedure.
- Responsible for reporting any unsafe acts or unsafe conditions observed (Near Miss System) in accordance with responsibilities under the Health and Safety at work Act.
- Provide general administrative support to the Commercial team and wider Business Development Department.
- Assist in the initial review of purchase orders, preparation & administration of Contract Reviews.
- Support the wider business with administration and monitoring of contracts & agreements.
- Support the preparation and maintenance of import, export and compliance documentation.
- Work with Business Development to support in the arrangement of customer visits and exhibitions.
- Provide support in the collation of information and preparation of marketing literature, including product brochures and technical data sheets.
- Support the Business Development team in the preparation of quotations, where required.
- Responsible for the distribution of mail, both internal and external.
Qualifications/ Experience:
- Experience in a general administrative role
- IT Skills – MS office, training on other software will be given
- Demonstrate attention to detail & working to a high degree of accuracy
- Strong time management and organisational skills
- Ability to keep to strict deadlines
- Strong Communication skills
- Strong Numeracy skills
