This team expansion is driven by significant growth, and we are seeking a talented individual to join as the Head of Advisory.


Position: Head of Advisory

Team: New Sanctions Team

Unit: Conflict and Financial Crime


Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide expert advice and oversee all Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and Counter-Terrorism Financing (CTF) advisory services.
  • Offer specialised guidance on the firm's sanctions compliance programme.
  • Monitor and implement sanctions and financial crime regulatory developments.
  • Understand and navigate the types of matters and transactions handled by a large international law firm.
  • Develop a deep knowledge of the firm's global new business policies, onboarding systems, controls, and procedures.


Requirements:

  • Extensive experience in sanctions is essential.
  • A robust understanding of financial crime regulatory frameworks.
  • Proven ability to manage and implement compliance programmes in an international context.
