Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead regulatory change management, focusing on payments and market-related regulations
  • Monitor and analyze upcoming regulatory changes, conducting impact assessments
  • Coordinate and advise on regulatory implementation projects
  • Serve as Subject Matter Expert (SME) for key regulatory themes
  • Draft and update compliance policies in response to regulatory changes
  • Engage with internal stakeholders and present to senior management
  • Participate in industry groups and draft regulatory consultation responses

Ideal Candidate Profile:

  • Strong knowledge of Payments Regulation and market regulatory themes (e.g. EMIR, Securities Financing Transactions) in UK and EU
  • Experience in compliance within banking, trade associations, consultancy, or regulatory bodies
  • Proven track record in drafting compliance policies
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to analyze complex regulatory requirements and explain to non-technical audiences
  • Experience with additional regulatory themes (e.g., Competition Law, Senior Management and Certification Regime) is a plus

Qualifications:

  • Degree-level education
  • Professional qualifications (e.g., CISI Diploma) preferred
