Are you passionate about writing and excited by ground-breaking technology? We are looking for a Senior Information Developer to join Arm and help craft the future of technology.

Job Overview:

As a Senior Information Developer in the Solutions Tech Comms team, you will lead in planning and generation of content for Solutions projects. You will work together with the technical communications team and engineering SMEs to create technical documentation for our partners, using different toolchains and reuse strategies, including auto-generation of content from Engineering sources.

Your work will influence 95% of the world’s connected devices running on Arm, across a variety of industries: from healthcare to smart homes.

Responsibilities:
  • Plan, build, and maintain user-centric technical documentation content for subsystems, SoCs, boards, and testchips.
  • Be a content and customer advocate for a global audience.
  • Work with other Tech Comms colleagues and the wider Arm community to improve how we work.
Required Skills and Experience :
  • Expert Information Developer/Technical Writer with experience of working on a number of technical projects and dealing with conflicting priorities.
  • Proactive team player who enjoys working in a collaborative, inclusive, and dynamic environment.
  • Clear communicator and creative problem solver.
  • Eager to learn about new technologies and standards: Open to change and able to adapt.

  • Some exposure to one or more of the following: Markdown, Jenkins, DITA, JSON, YAML, or Python.
  • Being familiar with electronics is an advantage because of the domain in which Arm works. Understanding computer architecture and how hardware and software interact is a good start.
  • A degree or postgraduate qualification in a related area. For example: Computer science, Physics, or Maths or English, Linguistics, or Law.
