Robert Half has partnered with a global business to recruit a Finance Manager. This role will support the Head of Finance and liaise with FP&A teams, business services, and external customers. You will be part of a growing business with significant potential. This position does not have any people management responsibilities and will report to the Head of Finance. For the right candidate this role offers:


Salary of up to £65,000 + hybrid working (2 days in the office) + excellent growth opportunities


Responsibilities of the Finance Manager

  • Produce key financial analysis as required by senior management.
  • Prepare timely and technically accurate contract accounts, including liaising with finance stakeholders.
  • Generate contract management accounts and commentary.
  • Manage contract month-end processes, budgets, forecasts, and strategic plan templates for submission to the centralised FP&A team.
  • Create order book reports to support the above submissions.
  • Review central revenue journals and reconcile billed and unbilled revenue.
  • Provide input to and support for internal and external audit requirements.
  • Produce timely and technically accurate contract-based budget, forecast, and strategic plan reports and presentations for senior management.


Requirements:

  • Fully qualified finance professional with proven post-qualification experience.
  • Experience working in defence, manufacturing, or a similar industry is advantageous.
  • Ability to maintain knowledge of industry and regulatory standards in respect to financial reporting.
