SPG Resourcing are currently recruiting for one of our Sheffield based clients, who are looking at hiring a new IT Service Delivery Manager due to a promotion within the team.


The IT Service Delivery Manager will be responsible for the Customer Contact Centre, that supports a variety of customer support matters. Take ownership of setting the direction for all key service operation and design functions including the Service Desk for incident management, asset management, desktop and applications support, as well as the management of communications to all customers in relation to service and support.


Role: IT Service Delivery Manager


Salary: up to £50k


Location: On site Sheffield City Centre


Day to day:

  • Daily performance and overall management of the IT systems in the contact centre
  • You will oversee the smooth running of the centre's hardware, software, database, telephony, rail help web-pages, messaging systems.
  • Responsible for incidents and business continuity plans.
  • ITIL Framework used to provide service design and service operations.
  • Working alongside with third party suppliers to ensure performing against deliverables whilst managing longevity of partnerships against suitability & cost.
  • Ensuring the Customer Support Teams have what they need to meet their targets and KPI's to deliver the highest standard of customer support across a variety of tickets.


What we are looking for:

  • Previous experience working at IT Service Delivery Manager role
  • Experience of working in a similar environment of customer support centre operations.
  • Expertise in data centre management and data governance
  • CRM experience ideally in Salesforce
  • Computer networks, network administration and network installation.
  • Demonstrable experience in working to ITIL standards.
  • Knowledge and experience in adhering to and practicing PCI-DSS, Cyber Essentials & ISO 27001.
  • Experience across: incident management, problem management, asset management, supplier management, performance management and colleague development & motivation


The successful IT Service Delivery Manager will have a salary on offer up to £50,000 and based in Sheffield City Centre modern office location around ten minutes' walk from Sheffield station. The first few months would require you to be on site 5 days per week, there after you are able to work in a hybrid model (2 days per week from home).
