Role Overview

We're seeking a talented and versatile Backend Engineer to join our growing team. In this role, you'll be instrumental in developing and maintaining the core systems that power our AI-driven automation platform. As we're a startup in a rapidly evolving field, you should be comfortable with ambiguity and excited about tackling diverse challenges.

️ Key Responsibilities

Your day-to-day tasks will vary, but may include:

• Designing, building, and maintaining scalable backend services and APIs
• Implementing efficient data models and database schemas
• Developing integrations with various third-party services and AI models
• Collaborating with frontend developers and AI specialists to create cohesive solutions
• Optimizing application performance and ensuring high availability
• Contributing to architectural decisions and technology choices
• Participating in code reviews and mentoring junior team members

Qualifications & Skills

We value talent, passion, and a willingness to learn over specific qualifications. However, the following skills and experiences will be beneficial:

✅ Essential:

• Strong proficiency in Python
• Experience with web frameworks (e.g., FastAPI, Flask, or Django)
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs and microservices architecture
• Knowledge of database systems (Postgres)
• Understanding of cloud services (preferably AWS)
• Ability to write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code
• Uses latest AI tools to accelerate your own work

• Experience with containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes)
• Familiarity with event-driven architectures
• Knowledge of AI/ML technologies and their integration
• Experience with infrastructure as code (e.g., Terraform)
