We are currently working in partnership with a Governing Body, who are looking to appoint a Management Accountant on a 3-month temporary basis.


This will be a full-time position based in Manchester City Centre, with hybrid working (3 days home working) and a permanent equivalent salary of £40,000.


The ideal candidate will have extensive experience producing the full management account packs and identifying underlying causes for variances.


Duties will include (but are not limited to):

  • Prepare annual budgets and regular forecasts for the organisation to ensure resources will support the delivery of the business plan
  • Prepare management accounts and run the month end processes for the organisation
  • Complete monthly balance sheet reconciliations for all account balances


Experience required:

  • Experience producing the full management accounts packs
  • Sound understanding of double entry bookkeeping
  • Preferably fully qualified


Working hours:

  • 37 hours per week
  • Monday – Friday, 9am-5pm
