Project Manager - Facilities
Location: Nottinghamshire (Hybrid)
Salary: up to £45k
Join a well-established, dynamic, and growing business offering a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Project Manager with a construction and/or facilities management background. This role is essential for driving various projects and ensuring their successful completion.
Key Responsibilities:
- Appoint and monitor appropriate labor and site management specific to the project type in conjunction with the Head of Contracts and project team.
- Control and analyze labor costs alongside the project QS.
- Produce comprehensive project programs, site meeting minutes, and contractor’s reports.
- Attend and contribute to client and contracts meetings.
- Conduct property surveys on commercial buildings in the hospitality industry.
- Collate, manage, and sign off snagging works completed by the project support team.
- Record variations from site and liaise with the QS team.
- Oversee site health and safety from pre-contract stage through to project completion.
- Promote commercial awareness for on-site projects.
- Liaise with the supply chain team to ensure compliance and effective site set-up.
- Take a lead role in snagging and handover meetings where appropriate with the design team.
- Ensure quality of workmanship in line with company expectations.
- Deliver projects to the agreed program of works.
- Monitor the program of works and identify shortfalls and solutions.
- Ensure relevant design and contract details are available to site personnel at all times.
- Maintain a sound understanding and consistent positive approach to health and safety.
- Have regular meetings with the Head of FM and contracts team to report on and discuss workload, project difficulties, and opportunities.
Required Skills and Experience:
- Excellent time-keeping and ability to manage own workload and meet deadlines.
- A passion for delivering a professional service and quality product.
- Friendly and proactive attitude.
- Strong communication skills across various clients, facilities management teams, and contractors.
- Willingness to spend a large amount of time on sites to ensure effective running.
- Good IT skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Project.
- Ideally SMSTS qualified or qualified by experience.
- Proven track record of delivering successful refurbishment programs while maintaining budget oversight, cost controls, and managing deadlines.
- Hands-on PM experience, running multiple projects simultaneously in works allocation, construction, fit-out, and refurbishment.

- This role requires flexibility in working hours and may involve some travel as the company operates across a wide area.
