Director of Medical Evidence Generation

BioTalent has partnered with a leading global pharmaceutical company to recruit an experienced and strategic Director of Medical Evidence Generation. This role is part of the Global Medical Affairs team and can be based in either the UK or Belgium.


About the Role

In this role, you will be instrumental in developing and executing the integrated evidence generation plan to support the company’s assets in Immunology. Working in alignment with the asset strategy, you will provide high-level strategic guidance on evidence generation needs, priorities, and timelines while engaging with key internal stakeholders.


Who You’ll Work With

You will be part of a collaborative, cross-functional team that includes the Asset Global Medical Head, regional stakeholders, and external partners. Together, you’ll align on evidence generation strategies, establish partnerships, and drive impactful evidence delivery.


Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and lead the execution of the IEG plan in alignment with the asset strategy.
  • Provide strategic oversight on evidence generation needs and priorities.
  • Lead cross-functional collaboration for integrated evidence generation.
  • Ensure studies are delivered on time, supporting strategic goals and maximizing impact.
  • Manage budget and track performance through key metrics and KPIs.
  • Identify and foster external partnerships for evidence generation.
  • Support the lifecycle management of assets.


Desired Qualifications

  • Medical Degree (M.D.) or Ph.D. in a scientific discipline with 5-7 years of experience in pharmaceuticals or biotechnology.
  • Proven experience at a regional or global level in developing and executing integrated evidence generation strategies.
  • Strong skills in data interpretation, communication, and strategic partnership building.
  • Experience in clinical and real-world evidence (RWE) study development.
  • Background in Immunology.
