Project Producer

London, United Kingdom STRAT7 Crowd DNA Full time

About the job

The Project Producer (PP) role involves working collaboratively alongside the Project Lead (PL) in launching, managing and delivering successful projects.

Our Project Producers are responsible for the end-to-end project management process on medium to large projects (predominantly qual); from internal kick off, project administration, to managing recruitment, timelines and the project budget, and are essential to the successful running of the business.

They help support the Project Lead on coordinating the project team, but also have wider commercial responsibilities from project costings, billing information, and accruals.

There is one overarching principle that should guide the PP in everything they do; deliver the project on time and within budget.

We expect Project Producers to be independent, proactive, able to spot problems and find solutions, have strong communication and organisation skills, and able to work at pace and under pressure.

The details

  • Project Costings; reaching out to suppliers for quotes, negotiating costs, building our internal costs
  • Project Kick-off; manage internal processes to set up the project internally, manage billing needs, create client contracts, build the project schedule, agree final costs and commission suppliers, host briefing calls with suppliers
  • Host regular team check ins to ensure project agility, gauge progress, align on jobs to be done and resolve project challenges
  • Working alongside PL or PP Director to refine the recruitment criteria and design a screener; work with the client to incorporate their feedback and answer their comments to achieve sign off
  • Ensure projects have relevant consent forms in place and GDPR is adhered to throughout
  • Management of more informal paths to recruitment where required (i.e. freefinding; online searches, snowball recruitment, etc.)
  • Sign off on recruitment, liaising with clients and suppliers to achieve the best participants; maintain strong client and supplier relationships throughout
  • Design the fieldwork schedule and arrange travel where required
  • Identify and problem solve any challenges along the way
  • Key client contact on recruitment and logistics (i.e. attend client kick off, liaise with client on timelines, recruitment and fieldwork plan)
  • Ensure all outputs are filed on the project and the project team have everything they need to create the report
  • Monitoring project spend throughout the project, making savings where possible
  • Maintaining individual job files with accurate records including research materials, supplier costs, and invoices
