Torque Consulting is currently seeking a Senior Mechanical Design engineer for a global engineering company based in the Warrington Area. They design, develop and manufacture on site, and have an excellent office and the latest equipment. You


You will be working with some of the world's largest engineering companies to complete bespoke projects and design work for clients across the globe.


Job details:

This role will be overseeing projects from cradle to grave completing design work using Solidworks, including BOM’s, detailing and preparation of specifications. Understanding the manufacturing process and the customer requirements for each high-level bespoke design. Participate in design meetings and reviews as well as cost analysis for projects. whilst overseeing junior member of the team.



The ideal Candidate:

  • 4+ years experience with any major 3D packaged
  • FEA experience
  • Ability to complete engineering calculations
  • Understanding industry regulations.
  • A relevant engineering qualification or degree
  • Worked in a senior role previously overseeing or taking leadership responsibilities
