Role Overview:


This role is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience in underwriting operations who is eager to step up to a senior position.


Permanent role

Hybrid model - 2 or 3 days in the office

City of London

Salary: Negotiable


The Senior Underwriting Operations Technician will be responsible for all aspects of monitoring and enhancing Underwriting Operations services and performance.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver the Underwriting Support Model to the Marine and Aviation underwriting teams.
  • Monitor and report on KPIs.
  • Ensure tasks outlined in the Underwriting Operations task list are efficiently transitioned from the underwriting teams to Underwriting Operations.

Skills and Competencies:

  • Experience as an Underwriting Operations Assistant.
  • Proficiency in Word and Excel (Intermediate level).
  • Comfortable with using in-house underwriting management systems
  • Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work as part of a team and independently.
  • Self-motivated with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Capable of meeting deadlines.

Education:

  • GCSE Maths and English grade B or above (or equivalent).
  • Minimum of 5 other GCSEs grade C or above.
