Service Engineer

We are searching for a professional Senior Service Engineer who posses excellent analytical, and interpersonal skills. Responsibilities

  • Complete preventative maintenance, fault finding and repairs for a variety of analytical laboratory instrumentation.
  • Manage and respond to all allocated work requests in a timely and professional manner.
  • Complete and maintain equipment service documentation
  • Work within the Analytical Service Engineering Team to provide the best level of service to the laboratories.
  • Maintain a stock inventory of spare parts.


Requirements

  • HND or higher in Chemistry, Engineering or a relevant Scientific Field.
  • Experience with instruments from vendors such as Agilent, Thermo, Waters, Varian, Dionex and Skalar working on GC/FID/MS/MS-MS, GCxGC, LC/MS-MS and ICP/MS/OES, IC and BOD/COD.
  • Experience of working as a Service Engineer, Test Engineer or in a Technical Support role.
  • Experience of working in a Life Sciences or Pharmaceutical Laboratory field would be an advantage.
  • Methodical with the ability to prioritise workload, manage multiple tasks and produce quality work in a timely manner.
  • Ability to multi-task activities with shifting priorities and be able to adapt to changing circumstances.
