Senior Civil Design Engineer

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Civil Design Engineer to join a leading water and wastewater company. Responsibilities of the Senior Civil Design Engineer will include:

  • Lead the design of civil engineering solutions for infrastructure projects, ensuring compliance with regulations and sustainability standards.
  • Manage large-scale projects, including planning, site assessments, hydraulic analyses, and material selection, while adhering to budgets and timelines.
  • Mentor and support junior engineers, fostering innovation and collaboration within multidisciplinary teams.
  • Oversee the integration of designs with other disciplines and resolve technical challenges during construction.
  • Prepare comprehensive reports, specifications, and cost analyses, ensuring all designs meet quality, safety, and environmental standards.


Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field, with Chartered Engineer status or equivalent.
  • Extensive experience (5+ years) in civil design and project management, with strong knowledge of hydraulics, structural design, and environmental regulations.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and hydraulic modeling tools, with advanced technical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and leadership abilities, capable of mentoring teams and managing stakeholder relationships.
  • Proven track record in delivering innovative, sustainable, and cost-effective infrastructure solutions within complex projects.


What This is Offering:

  • Competitive salary of £55,000 to £65,000, dependent on experience.
  • 3.5k car allowance
