The Role:


As the Head of Agile Delivery, you will report directly to the COO, with an aim to to elevate agile practices and lead impactful projects across multiple commercial lines within the business. You will be a champion of continuous improvement, cross-functional collaboration, and customer-centred solutions.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Delivery Management: Lead and ensure the successful delivery of key projects, staying aligned with the organisation’s commitment to customer satisfaction, timely delivery, and high standards across its diverse offerings.
  • Team Leadership and Development: Develop and nurture a high-performing team of Agile Delivery Managers and Project Managers, fostering an environment that reflects the company’s values—courage, teamwork, and customer dedication.
  • Performance and Metrics: Define and monitor KPIs that reflect agile delivery goals, using data-driven insights to enhance team effectiveness and delivery processes.
  • Agile Transformation Leadership: Drive agile transformation within the organisation, partnering with stakeholders to embed a pioneering spirit and customer focus into every project.
  • Agile Coaching: Guide and support individuals and teams in adopting agile methodologies, promoting a culture that embraces learning and innovation.
  • Stakeholder Management: Partner with senior leaders and stakeholders to ensure alignment on project priorities, maintain transparency, and drive effective decision-making.
  • Continuous Improvement: Instil a culture of feedback and continuous improvement, reinforcing the commitment to delivering differentiated customer experiences.
  • Resource Management: Oversee resource planning and prioritisation, ensuring teams are equipped to meet their goals efficiently and on time.
  • Risk Management: Identify and proactively address risks, supporting a culture of resilience and adaptability.


What They’re Looking For:


  • Extensive experience in agile delivery leadership within a dynamic, customer-focused environment.
  • Expertise in agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, Lean) with a demonstrated ability to adapt approaches to fit an organisation’s unique needs.
  • Proven leadership in managing and developing teams, aligned with the values of collaboration and customer-centricity.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of inspiring and aligning stakeholders.
  • Experience in agile transformations, cultural change, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on delivering measurable value.
  • Familiarity with agile project management tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence).


Qualifications:


  • Certifications like Certified ScrumMaster (CSMI, II, II, II), Certified Agile Coach, or PMI-ACP are a plus.
